Services
Our home care services provide individualised assistance to support assisted living for you or your loved ones. Every person has their unique requirements, and we will ensure that our services are flexible to provide the care required.
Home care gives you or your loved ones the opportunity to receive expert assistance in your own home, as an alternative to moving to residential care or just to assist to keep up with daily routines. Support can be arranged as little or as often as required given that every individual will have their own set of care needs, whether it is to support those struggling with daily routines, requiring mobility support or company when feeling lonely or isolated.
Whether you’d just like weekly care visits or require specialist care for a complex medical condition, home care is for people with all types and levels of need.
The types of services we offer include:
Our carers provide discreet, sensitive support with areas of personal care, including; washing, showering, bathing, dressing, application of creams and lotions, toileting and continence care.
Regular visits to ‘check-in’ on you/your loved ones can provide reassurance, assist in alleviating loneliness and improve mental wellbeing. Companionship visits can be arranged to be flexible to individual needs, perfect for those living alone who miss social interaction throughout the day – our Carers make a great cup of tea and love having a chat! We can accompany individuals to hospital/GP visits, local coffee mornings or running errands like picking up shopping for example.
Cura offers support to individuals who are struggling to keep on top of domestic duties by helping with things like:
- Cleaning and vacuuming
- Laundry and ironing
- General household chores
- Shopping and running errands
- Meal preparation
We believe that being in the comfort of your own home can positively impact your health and overall well-being. We can provide home care support for hospital discharge plans to enable a prompt return to home.
We can provide assistance to our clients to take their prescribed medications at set times.
Caring for someone, without help, no matter how much you love them, is extremely difficult when you are doing it day in and day out. Respite care can offer family and friends a much needed break, helping to avoid exhaustion, stress and eventual burn out. Whether it’s sitting with them for a few hours at home, or taking them out for the day, we offer short periods of respite care that enables you to take some time for yourself, knowing that your loved one is in safe hands.
