About us
Ambulances queuing outside A&E and bed-blocking are news stories we are all familiar with. A few months ago, one of our colleagues experienced great difficulty in securing help for an older relative when he returned home following a spell in hospital. Apparently, we learned that this scenario is what has become the ‘norm’ which led us to research ‘why?’
After some in-depth analysis, we discovered there are several factors, affecting both Carers and Service Users. Are these factors insurmountable? We do not believe so.
Fast forward eight months and Cura Domiciliary Care Ltd was established. Our company is run by four passionate and determined women, who use their previous experience in Healthcare to help support the Social Care sector. We want to try and bridge the gaps between NHS healthcare and patients returning to, and continuing to, live at home. This also very much includes older people who, for whatever reason, require some form of assistance.
If you (like us!) have relatives or friends who require personal care, support to take medication, companionship (see our services for more) or just a friendly check-in call then please contact us for a confidential chat.
We currently offer services throughout the Swansea and Llanelli areas. However, our team is growing rapidly, so if you live further afield, please do get in touch to discuss your needs and whether we could cover your area.
